The Indians lost a lot of sock from their line-up and their pitching staff has been thinned by injuries and defections. The White Sox
have the best offense in the division, but their young pitching is dubious at best. Their bullpen is showing signs of weakness as well. The rotation may very well emerge this year but they are more likely to suffer more growing pains. The Twins have a solid offense, great defense and the best rotation in the division. Only their bullpen is suspect, but that is one of the easier and inexpensive problems to fix for a GM, both important factors for Minnesota. The Tigers and Royals have the seeds of decent teams, but are probably 2 or 3 years away from contending.
